Objective:

  2. To help you develop and exercise critical thinking skills to analyze course content and real life material
  3. To encourage you to work both as an independent thinker and as a team player

Academic Context
Your group is going to present your problem-solution analysis of a global problem at a student forum. In this forum, you are required to make a PPT presentation and handle Q&A, followed up with a poster interaction to exchange ideas about the content and/or give comments on the analysis.

You participate in a forum which discuss solutions about global challenges. You are going to give a PPT presentation and handle Q&A and participate in a pamphlet presentation and a breakout session.

Project Title: A Lesson Worth Sharing in the 21st Century
Objective:

  1. To apply the critical thinking skills in analyzing and evaluating a TED talk
  2. To integrate all the learned reading, listening and speaking strategies as well as critical thinking skills in giving a TED-style group talk
  3. To call for actions from younger generation to participate in global issues and concerns
  4. To work collaboratively to achieve a common goal

Academic Context
You and your friends have joined the TED ED clubs program which supports university students in discovering, exploring and presenting their big ideas in the form of short, TED-style talks. The program is now hosting an international event where students from all over the world gather and work together to learn and share lessons that are significant in the 21st century. Lessons here does NOT mean that you have to teach; lessons can be ideas or concepts.
You have been invited to make a presentation on a topic of your interests, followed by an interactive poster session between members in the TED ED clubs program.
